Cosmetic tips

This page is intended to provide some general tips on how to help improve your appearance and are not processes or treatments that are provided by the Mclean Academy. However if ou wish to query our consultant please feel free to send us an email or fill out the contact sheet found here.

Vitamin Detox
The Vitage Enzyme mask is a high-strength mask packed with vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants designed to firm your bust, bottom or thighs. The hour-long treatment provides a relaxing deep tissue massage using vitamin rich oil to detoxify and decongest. Once the mask is applied it hardens feeding the skin with nutrients.

This will tighten and tone the skin and detoxify areas prone to cellulite. It also has oxygen and stimulating effects that help collagen production on dehydrated, sun damaged or mature skin. It is recommended you take six to eight treatments to notice the best results. Cost is around £55 per treatment.

Super Smooth Legs
Get super smooth legs with Veet in shower hair removal cream. Apply the cream with the coloured side of the sponge wait one minute before showering and the cream will begin to dissolve. After a further two more minutes remove the cream.

Due to the effect of the cream dissolving the hair there is no stubbly regrowth and the moisturising effect leaves legs soft and smooth.

Diet dos and don'ts
To flatten you stomach follow the rules for a week: Avoid all refined foods such as white bread, rice, pasta, alcohol, processed foods and ready meals or anything high in saturated fats and or sugar. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables, drink a litre of still water a day, and avoid caffeine but snack between meals with fruit and raw vegetables.

Fabulous Fake Tans
There are plenty of fake tanning treatments but we highly recommend Fake Bake This is a three-step salon treatment, which takes around 90 minutes. It is applied by a therapist and consists of vegetable dye, botanical ingredients and essential oils. One lies on a heated bed while the therapist applies passion fruit Body Polish to exfoliate the face and body. The skin is then sprayed with Smoothie Oil and the Fake bake lotion applied. One is advised to wait eight hours before showering and the end result is a safe glorious golden brown that makes you look amazing.
