Total Lower Body Lift

This extensive operation which takes aorund 6 hours to perform under general anaesthetic lifts both the buttocks and the lateral thighs and also includes an abdominal reduction at the same time. The scar runs completely around the lower part of the trunk both on the anterior and posterior aspects of the torso. The drains are kept in for around 4 to 5 days, patients are gently mobilised and the procedure can significantly enhance the patients quality of life.

It takes around 3 to 6 months for the patient to fully recover from this complicated operation and the risks include wound infection, seroma, numbness and venous thrombosis.

Overall, although it is a big operation the results are very satisfactory and many massive weight loss patients benefit from this particular procedure.
