Thigh buttock lift
Women that experience a loss of elasticity in the buttocks, thigh and hip area may be considered good candidates for a thigh buttock lift. Those that have flabby, dimpled, saggy or orange peel may also consider the operation. The procedure is generally considered to provide firmer, countered skin, whilst decreasing abnormalities to the skins surface.
The procedure involves initially making incisions, before removing any excess skin and then tightening in a manner that should provide for an outcome the patient has previously discussed with their consultant. During this operation drains are sometimes fitted when the surgeon feels it is necessary to prevent build-up of a build up of fluid in the thigh area. Temporary dressings are then applied before the operation is complete.

Patients are required to stop taking medication which alters blood viscosity; including aspirin. In preparation of surgery it is also highly recommended that patients avoid smoking, to provide a quicker recovery.
After the operation
Patients should not return to work until at least a week after the operation, providing excess time if they still do not feel ready.
